This signed Sustrans cycle route takes you from Morecambe Bay to Grimsby.
The mapped route below is the opening section from Hest Bank on Morecambe Bay to the village of Clapham in North Yorkshire.
The 50 mile route uses a mixture of traffic free paths and quiet country lanes to take you through Lancashire to Yorkshire. Near the start there is a particularly pleasant waterside run along the River Lune in Lancaster.
In Clapham you can link up with the Pennine Cycleway - National Cycle Route 68 to continue your journey.
There are other sections along the route at Silsden, Cullingworth, Thornton, Halifax, Huddersfield, Dewsbury and Horbury.
