Derwent Reservoir Durham

Enjoy a cycle around Derwent Reservoir in Durham. The route takes you around the reservoir on country roads and past the pretty Pow Hill Country Park. The reservoir is located a few miles west of Consett and close to the delightful village of Blanchland.
The reservoir is also great for walks. Try our Pow Hill Country Park and Derwent Reservoir Walk which takes you through the woodland of the park and then along the water to the dam.
Just to the north west of the site you will find the expansive Slalely Forest. There's miles of nice wide walking trails and mountain bike trails here.
