Doncaster to Barnsley
Description
This lovely route follows the
Trans Penine Trail
from Doncaster to Barnsley.
You will follow first the River Don to Conisborough, passing Sprotborough Weir and Conisborough Viaduct as you go. The route then follows the River Dearne through Adwick and Bolton on Dearne with Denaby Ings Nature Reserve a highlight on this section. The ride finishes with another traffic free section through Wombwell and onto Barnsley.
