Ashmansworth, Faccombe and Pilot Hill Circular Walk
This circular walk explores the countryside surrounding the Hampshire villages of Ashmansworth and Faccombe. You'll also enjoy a climb to Pilot Hill, the highest point in the county.
The walk runs for about 6 miles and includes some steep climbs. From the high points you are rewarded with some wonderful views over the surrounding countryside of the North Wessex Downs AONB.
On the way you can stop off at the Jack Russell Inn in Faccombe for some refreshments. They serve fine food and have a nice garden area to relax in. The pub is dog friendly and can be found at postcode SP11 0DS.
The Wayfarer's Walk crosses the hill so you could pick up this long distance trail to continue your walk. Follow it north west and you could climb the nearby Walbury Hill. The two hills are often climbed on the same walk.
