Bill Quay Farm

Bill Quay Community Farm has a collection of rare livestock including Tamworth pigs, Large Black pigs, three breeds of sheep (Jacob, Hebridean and Castlemilk Moorit), endangered Bagot goats, Pilgrim Geese and Scots Grey hens. There is also a small mammal area with chinchillas, degus, Chinese hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs, mice and ferrets. There are 25 acres of farmland to explore with an excellent cafe and farm shop selling local produce. The farm is located on the River Tyne at Gateshead.
