Cheltenham River Chelt Walk
14.3 miles (23 km)
This walk takes you along the River Chelt from its source near Dowdeswell Reservoir to the River Severn near Norton.
Along the way the walk passes through the large town of Cheltenham and the settlements of Knightsbridge and Uckington.
The trail follows various public footpaths which run next to or close to the river which is a tributary of England's largest river, the Severn. At the end of the route you can link up with the Severn Way to continue your riverside walking.
There are fine countryside views to enjoy for the majority of the walk which runs for a distance of just over 14 miles.
