Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk explores the area around the village of Cookham Dean in Berkshire. The walk visits some of the local highlights including Cookham Common, Pinkneys Green and Maidenhead Thicket.
It's a varied route with woodland sections, open countryside and a riverside section along the River Thames near Marlow. Along the way there are some fine views of the countryside of the Thames Valley.
For rest and refreshments you could stop off at The Pinkneys Arms which has a nice garden to relax in. You can find them at postcode SL6 6NU.
You can start and finish the walk at the car park on the southern side of the common.
