Dalham Circular Walk

5.3 miles (8.6 km)

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk explores the countryside around the deilightful Suffolk village of Dalham.
Tucked into the rolling countryside between Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds, Dalham is a village brimming with character. It's home to charming thatched cottages that once served as a forge, a carpenter's shop, and a laundry, and it still retains an old malt kiln and windmill. The surrounding woods are blanketed in bluebells and wood anemones during the spring. Walks around the village will take you past several historic buildings, including Dalham Hall, Dalham Church, and Old Desning Barn.
You can continue your walking on the Moulton Three Churches Walk which visits two more ancient churches in the area.
