Goodworth Clatford River Anton Walk

This walk takes you along the River Anton from the Hampshire village of Goodworth Clatford to Chilbolton.
Starting in the village you head south along the eastern side of the river, before heading towards Wherwell and Chilbolton. You'll cross Chilbolton Common before coming into the village where you can enjoy rest and refreshments.
Along the way there are some lovely views of the surrounding countryside and woodland.
In Goodworth Clatford there's also the Royal Oak. The fine country pub has a delightful interior and beautiful beer garden to relax in. You can find them at postcode SP11 7QY.
To continue your walking you could head to neighbouring Upper Clatford to explore Bury Hill Iron Age Hillfort.
