Martinsell Hill Walk

This circular walk visits Martinsell Hill in the North Wessex Downs AONB.
You can start the walk from the parking area located just east of the hill near Wootton Rivers. From here you can pick up Tan Hill Way and other paths to reach the 289 metre high summit which is less than a mile from the car park.
From the summit there are splendid views over the countryside and hills of the Vale of Pewsey. The area also includes lots of wildlife and pretty bluebells in the spring months.
The route links up with the Vale Of Pewsey and Giant's Grave Circular Walk which visits a nearby ancient burial long barrow.
