This varied walk starts from the car park in Shankill village in Dublin and takes you to The Scalp, an important geological site formed by a glacial outflow.
The route passes through various woodlands, including Carrickgollogan and Barnaslingan Woods. Along the way, you'll also see the former Ballycorus Lead Mine, a significant industrial heritage site.
From the top of Carrickgollogan Hill, the walk provides stunning panoramic views of Killiney Bay, Bray Head, the Little and Great Sugar Loaf Mountains, and the wider Dublin and Wicklow Mountains.
