Ufford Circular Walk
This circular walk explores the countryside surrounding the Suffolk village of Ufford.
The route follows public footpaths and country lanes to the neighbouring settlements of Eyke and Bromeswell.
On the way you'll enjoy some fine views of the local farmland and the River Deben, which runs through the area.
Ufford also includes a noteworthy church dating back to the 11th century. The church is famous for medieval wood carvings, notably a font cover of about 1450 – the tallest such cover in England at 20 feet (6 metres).
The village is located just north east of Woodbridge where there are some fine walks along the river and the fascinating Sutton Hoo to visit. The walking and cycling trails in Rendlesham Forest are located just to the south east of Eyke.
