Vernham Dean Circular Walk

4.3 miles (7 km)

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This circular walk explores the countryside around the Hampshire villages of Vernham Dean and Upton.
The route runs for just over 4 miles passing along a series of local footpaths and country lanes. Along the way you can enjoy some fine views over the countryside of the Test Valley and the North Wessex Downs.
To extend the walk you could head west into Wiltshire to visit the Fosbury Camp Iron Age Hillfort. See the fine video below for a map and guide.
To continue your walking in the area head south east to pick up the St Mary Bourne Walk and visit some of the other neighbouring villages.
Further to the west there's the historic Ludgershall Castle to visit.
