This long distance walk follows The South Downs Way and the Monarch's Way from Winchester to the coast at Brighton.
The route runs for about 70 miles, first following the South Downs Way south east from Winchester through the rolling countryside of the South Downs National Park. Near Upper Beeding the route then picks up the Monarch's Way and follows it to the coast at Portlade By Sea. From here you pick up the coast path to take you through Hove to Brighton, where you finish at the pier.
