Brockhill Country Park
 
 Brockhill Park has a number of waymarked woodland trails, a lake, open grassland and meadows. The park is rich in wildlife, with marbled white butterflies, green woodpeckers and carpets of snowdrops. There are also excellent facilities with picnic areas and a cafe.

Just to the west on the Royal Military Canal Path you'll find the village of Lympne. Here you can visit the splendid Port Lympne Wild Animal Park, the medieval Lympne Castle and the ancient Portus Lemanis Roman Fort.

Café at Brockhill Country Park. On a warm August afternoon the (pay & display) car park was packed but the park itself was uncrowded.
Footbridge. This is on the 'Blue Route'. A 3/4 mile route from the carpark down the valley and then around the lake. This bridge is over a small feeder stream to the lake, on the west of the lake.
