198.8 miles (320 km)

Ordnance Survey Map Open Streetmap This long distance cycle ride follows National Cycle Route 4 and National Cycle Route 5 between two of England's major cities.
It is not the most direct route instead keeping to Sustrans signed cycle paths which are generally pleasant quiet roads with several long traffic free sections along various waterways to enjoy as well.
Starting in the centre of London you will first head west along NCN 4 to Windsor and Reading. Here you link up with NCN 5 which will take you all the way to Birmingham via Oxford.
