Pier to Pier Clevedon to Weston-Super-Mare Cycle Route
This super cycle route takes you from the pier at Clevedon to the pier at Weston-Super-Mare in Somerset.
The route offers a convenient alternative to the M5 and busy A370, cutting four miles off the journey and making it suitable for commuters, leisure cyclists, and tourists. Predominantly using quiet roads and country lanes with some traffic-free sections including the new Tutshill Greenway. Along the way there are some lovely coastal sections and fine views of the surrounding countryside to enjoy.
It's important to note that certain parts can be busier during peak holiday or commuting times, and also see farm traffic, meaning it might not be ideal for very young children or inexperienced cyclists. This trail forms the central part of a larger vision for a North Somerset Coastal Towns Cycle Route, already linking with the Brean Down Way to create a continuous route from Brean to Clevedon, with future plans to extend it to Portishead and connect to Bristol.
The trail forms part of National Cycle Route 33 which you can use to further explore the area by bike.
