Barbury Castle, Smeathe's Ridge and Ogbourne St George Circular Walk

This circular walk explores the area to the south east of Barbury Castle Country Park on Wiltshire's North Wessex Downs.
The elevated trail will first take you along Smeathe's Ridge to the nearby village of Ogbourne St George where you could enjoy some rest and refreshment at roughly the half way point of the walk.
The route then follows trails north west to Burderop Down before returning to the car park. Along the way there are some excellent views over the surrounding countryside from the high points.
The route uses part of The Ridgeway National Trail so you could continue your walking along this waymarked path.
