Eccleston Delph Walk

This walk visits the Eccleston Delph Watersports centre near the village of Eccleston in Lancashire.
The centre is mainly for watersports but it's also a nice place for a stroll and a picnic. You can follow a footpath around the lake and look out for the divers, fish and various birds on the water. The site also includes a decent cafe for some refreshments afterwards.
To extend the walk you could head west to visit Mawdesley and the historic Rufford Old Hall. The ancient hall has some beautiful gardens and nice walks along the Leeds and Liverpool Canal.
