The trail runs for just under 3 miles, following local footpaths and country lanes through some attractive scenery. From the high points there are some lovely views of the surrounding Lincolnshire Wolds countryside.
On the way you will also pass the interesting old church and the pretty Heron Lake.
You can continue your walking in the area along the Lincolnshire Wolds Way. You could also head into nearby Louth and try the Louth Canal Walk or the Louth Railway Walk.

All Saints Church South Elkington

All Saints Church South Elkington. The parish church is a Grade II* listed building dedicated to All Saints, built using chalk, ironstone, and limestone, and dating from the 13th century, with a 15th-century font. The nave was rebuilt in 1843, and the chancel in 1873.
