This town in Perth and Kinross has some nice waterside trails along the River Ericht to try. There's also numerous local lochs and the nearby Cairngorms National Park to explore. Tay Forest Park is just to the west of the settlement. is just to the west of the settlement.
This circular walk takes you along the River Ericht in the riverside park. You can follow a waterside trail north to Lornty Bridge before following country lanes back through the town. At Lornty there are fabulous views over the countryside of the Ericht Valley to enjoy. Part of the route follows a section of the epic Cateran Trail which runs through the area.
