This walk visits Cransley Reservoir from the village of Thorpe Malsor in Northamptonshire.
You can start the walk in the village and then follow footpaths south west to the reservoir. You can walk along the eastern end of the water before following country lanes back to the village. There is a sailing club on the eastern side which you can join to try some sailing on the lake.
The reservoir can also be reached from Loddington which lies just to the north west.
