Nash Circular Walk
A circular walk from the historic hamlet of Nash in Bromley.
The 4 mile walk uses a series of public footpaths, country lanes and a section of the waymarked London Loop. On the way you'll pass Baston Manor, Hayes Common and Keston Common.
The walk starts from the little hamlet of Nash located near Coney Hall. From here you pick up footpaths heading north west to Well Wood before turning north east to skirt the edge of Hayes Common. There's waymarked trails here with attractive woodland and heather moorland to explore. At the common you pick up the London Loop and follow it south east past Baston Manor to visit Keston Common and windmill. The common includes a series of picturesque lakes with more nice woodland trails.
You continue south past Keston Court and the interesting site of a Roman Mausoleum. You then turn north west to return to Nash.

Pubs/Cafes
Next to Keston Common you can enjoy a pit stop at the Fox Inn. (postcode: BR2 6BQ). The pub sits next to the common and includes a nice large beer garden to relax in during the summer months. There's also The Greyhound pub here which does a great Sunday Roast and is dog friendly.
Further Information and Other Local Ideas
Continue along the London loop for a short distance and you can visit High Elms Country Park. Here you'll find woodlands, a nature centre, ice well, formal gardens and wildflower meadows in a 250 acre space. If you head west along the trail you'll soon come to Addington Hills where there's a nice viewpoint to climb to. The Cudham Circular Walk and the Farnborough Circular Walk also pass through the Bromley area.

Nash Lane, Nash
Drinking fountain at Keston Village BR2. The Fox Inn is the building with cream-coloured walls, and to the left, behind the cars parked on Commonside, stands the Greyhound Inn. The inscription on the drinking fountain in the foreground reads; "This fountain stood opposite the Royal Bell Hotel, Bromley Market, for over 60 years. It was re-erected on this site in January 1937."
Keston Windmill
Keston: lawn on Hayes Common. A drinking fountain punctuates this lawn at the southern end of Hayes Common, alongside Keston village.
Roman Mausoleum south of Keston. Roman Mausoleum The base of the Roman Mausoleum, with one of the archeologists in a high visibility jacket sitting on it. He said it would have been about 20ft high and was rendered in red. High status people's ashes were put into it and other Roman graves surround it.
