Sawtry, Upton and Aversley Wood Circular Walk
7.5 miles (12 km)
This circular walk explores the countryside and woodlands surrounding the Cambridgeshire villages of Sawtry and Upton.
On the way you will pass Aversley Wood where there are some pleasant woodland trails, ponds, lots of wildlife and pretty bluebells to see in the spring.
To continue your walking around Sawtry head north east to explore Holme Fen where you will find the largest Silver Birch woodland in lowland England. You can also visit neighbouring Stilton to the north and try the Stilton and Caldecote Wood Circular Walk. Just to the east are the peaceful woodland trails in the Monks Wood Walk Nature Reserve.
