Padworth Common Walk

This circular walk explores Padworth Common Nature Reserve in Berkshire.
The common includes some nice footpaths taking you to heathland, woodland, ponds and wet alder-lined gullies. It's a pleasant place for a quiet stroll with lots of interesting flora and fauna to see. Look out for birds including European nightjar, Dartford warbler and nuthatch.
The reserve includes a public car park and is also a nice place for a dog walk.
If you'd like to continue your walking in the area head north to pick up the Aldermaston Wharf Canal Walk and enjoy an easy waterside walk along the Kennet and Avon Canal Walk.
